I Will Surely Know

Ãóëüíàðà Ýëðîä Óìàðáåêîâà
I will surely know with whom to go,
How to proceed and withstand the blow
Someday, one day, somehow,
When wise men, taken to the skies,
Get tired of hanging in the clouds.

It  will come to me, like a rain spree,
Like a frivolous revelation, special,
In a clear and persuasive manner,
Once wise men dwelling in the clouds
Start frantically falling down,

Falling to Earth with the drops of rain,
Smashing umbrellas, hopping on trains,
Wailing like they have never cried
Since they’ve been taken to the skies.
I will wait for them to materialize.

And so I waited, in vain, for nothing,
Since no one was off the clouds hopping.
This is the time to decide on my own
And firmly choose with whom to go,
How to proceed and withstand the blow.
