COVID-19 disaster proved beyond the reasonable doubt that the system of “parliamentary democracy” no longer works. Even if we overcome the COVID-crisis (which may or may not happen), the next one will inevitably destroy the Western Civilization (and thus the whole human civilization) as we know it.
Consequently, the “parliamentary democracy” became a genuinely existential threat to the Western (and human) civilization. It is no surprise at all – this system has been designed centuries ago for a very, very different world than the “electronic age” and the “online community” we live in.
It is way too slow, complex, cumbersome, inefficient and generally inept for our fast-paced “online world”.
To save the Western (and the whole human) civilization from complete and utter destruction in the very near future, we MUST replace the “parliamentary system” with the one that will work – and work well – in our “online age”. With Direct Electronic Democracy.
Direct Electronic Democracy will be built on a firm foundation of Direct Democracy Portal (DDP). DDP will bring together everyone in the nation – individuals, businesses, government entities, non-profits, etc. – to identify and efficiently implement the necessary projects and processes at every level – from a tiny village to the whole Western (and human) Civilization.
