COVID-19 disaster and other recent crises proved beyond the reasonable doubt that the system of “parliamentary democracy” no longer works. Worse, it is so slow, complex, cumbersome, inefficient and generally inept that it will be simply unable to cope with the next major crisis. Which might very well destroy our civilization as we know it.
It is not a surprise at all as this system was developed more than 250 years ago – for a fundamentally different world. Our world has changed so drastically since then that this system simply no longer works. And thus became a genuinely existential threat for the Western Civilization – and for the whole human civilization.
To save our civilization from the total and utter destruction (which will transform our world into a very real Hell on Earth) we need to replace this system with the one that will work in our “electronic world”. Not surprisingly, the only system that will do the job, is the system of Direct Electronic Democracy built around (and upon) the Direct Democracy Portal (DDP).
However, democracy is not the end – it is only a means to an end; it is but a tool to achieve the genuine fundamental objective of any and every nation, country, society and the government – the genuine happiness of its citizens (constituents).
Consequently, we MUST build essentially a New Civilization – a happiness-focused civilization. Thus, every government at every level – from a tiny village to the European Union – MUST be built around the Department of Happiness.
In addition to being far too slow, cumbersome, complex, inefficient and inept (and thus incapable of coping with existential crises), the existing “liberal system” has two fundamental flaws that make it a genuinely existential threat to a human civilization.
First, it attempts to satisfy the wants and desires of each of its constituents. Which is not only an exercise in futility because (1) wants and desires are unlimited and thus can NOT be satisfied – ever; and (2) satisfying wants/desires does NOT make an individual happy.
Because a human being is happy only when his/her genuine aggregate needs are satisfied – financial, functional, emotional and spiritual (i.e. according to Maslow’s hierarchy of human needs).
Second, it focuses far too much on rights and freedoms of individuals and social groups (first and foremost, of the minorities) – at the expense of the needs of the whole society as a system.
Which creates a genuinely existential threat – because during the inevitable next major crises the “liberal system” will attempt to “save the individuals” (or minorities) at the expense of the stability of the whole society. Causing the society to collapse – and making life literally hellish for EVERYONE.
Hence, the New Civilization MUST (1) focus on helping its constituents identify and satisfy their genuine aggregate needs – financial, functional, emotional and spiritual; and (2) put the interests of the whole society before the (perceived) interests of individuals and social groups.
Because the #1 interest of any individual and social group is for the society to remain stable and function efficiently – if the society collapses, nothing else really matters.
Happiness of the civilization is not compatible with it dying out; consequently, we MUST bring the fertility rates of Western Citizens back to above-replacement levels. Happiness is not compatible with homelessness either; therefore, we MUST ruthlessly eradicate the latter.
To be genuinely happy, one must be in a good physical and mental shape. Therefore, we MUST radically improve the health of every one of its constituents by (a) de-facto banning unhealthy food; (b) making physical education compulsory from nursery and kindergarten to college and beyond; (c) making physical exercise compulsory at work; (d) banning all kinds of tobacco products; and (e) creating powerful incentives and provide the resources to radically improve one’s health.
No nation, country or civilization can survive (let alone prosper) without its culture. Hence, we MUST pass the Cultural Security Act aimed at restoring and strengthening the culture of every Western nation and of the Western Civilization.
The civilization can be genuinely happy only if ALL of its citizens and organizations operate at the maximum possible efficiency. In other words, generate the maximum possible amount of aggregate value – financial, functional, emotional and spiritual – or each other.
Consequently, we MUST radically reengineer ALL Western organization – and maximize their productivity. And transform the Western Civilization into Civilization of ;bermenschen – super-human beings.
Crime (of any kind) is not compatible with a happy society. Consequently, we MUST eradicate organized crime (including street gangs) and drastically reduce all other crime. First and foremost, rape, pedophilia and domestic violence.
Happiness is not compatible with drug and alcohol abuse. Consequently, we MUST drastically reduce production, trafficking and consumption of illegal and destructive drugs – and do away with alcoholism and other drinking problems.
Human life begins at conception – it is a biological fact. Hence, abortion is murder – and we MUST reduce the number of abortions in the Western Civilization to zero.
