PEACE PIPE

Picture on the theme of the development of Europeans "Wild West" called " PIPE of PEACE."

In the mountains, within sight, fire flashes. Fires. War. It is not clear whether the wigwams of the Indian camp or the houses of the white settlers are burning...
Undoubtedly, the faces depicted in the picture met on this occasion. The Central images are two native Americans and a third white. On the left is a mighty warrior. By his jet-black mane of hair, carefully trimmed with gray, you can definitely call a tribal affiliation-Mohawk.

The Iroquois are the bravest and most merciless warriors among all the Indian tribes.

In the center is an aged Indian, his shaggy eyebrows long ago acquired the noble color of silver. His hair is hidden by the magnificent headdress of a chief and a great warrior, decorated with colorful beads and eagle feathers. Perhaps it was the chief of the Delawares, who, after bloody battles, compromised with the whites, made an agreement, smoked the "pipe of peace"according to custom. On the hands of the chief kitten Cougar, or mountain lion, Cougar. This is also a touch to the personality of the leader.  Brave in battle, merciful to the vanquished. Eagle feathers, too, in subject, trophies personal, other not wore.
The following character. «White». Caucasoid. White migrant. Probably British, Irish, Scottish. Two colts, a bandolier of cartridges, a handkerchief-tie, a favorite of cowboys, which in a dust storm or a RAID turned and turned into a bandage on half his face.

Fourth person. Girl. Probably from the Iroquois tribe, the daughter of the chief against whose hip she clung. She's crying with a bloody bandage on her head.
The Iroquois chief is furious. In his hands, the weapon-the Tomahawk - a battle axe, which the Indians wielded with inimitable dexterity in hand-to-hand combat, used as a throwing weapon. Similar Tomahawks were produced in Europe specifically for America. Sold in exchange for furs, silver, gold, precious stones.

Attention! The Mohawk is ready to extend the Tomahawk to his enemy, but not to frighten him. The blade is not pointed in the direction of the settler. It's a gesture of goodwill. A forced gesture. This is a proposal to smoke the "pipe of peace", to conclude a peace agreement. Tomahawk is not easy. He's a pipe smoker. At the opposite end from the blade is a tobacco Cup, and there is a channel for smoke throughout the handle. The ritual of "Smoking a pipe of peace" sacred to the Indians. But the white settler is not yet thinking of peace. He already smokes. He had a colt in one hand and a match in the other. In an instant it can bring fire or light the pipe of peace.

The flames of war or peace? War and peace. Two hundred years ago, two thousand years ago, today, tomorrow…

When will humanity be able to get rid of this dilemma?!

Here is on this subject – picture.

Well, about the fifth and sixth persons in the "basement" image to say nothing in particular.  This plot is passed through my brain, hands and soul.

Your PARKIN. Thanks for your attention.
