The Orlovsky TB Dispensary Center of the Oryol Region is the only institution in the region that provides specialized TB care to the population of the Oryol Region.

The Orlovsky TB Dispensary, a hospital with 170 beds, a dispensary department for adults and a dispensary department for children, is part of the Orlovsky Oblast Orlovskaya Oblast Health Center. At the hospital there is a day hospital for 40 patients / places.

TB pulmonary surgery department - 30 beds (including 12 beds of extrapulmonary tuberculosis)
Children's Department for Therapy of Pulmonary Tuberculosis - 20 beds.

OPTD Bacteriological Laboratory is equipped with new modern equipment.
Fast laboratory diagnostics methods, such as the BACTEC MIGIT 960 automated system, the CeneXpert analyzer, real-time PCR diagnostics, were commissioned. New methods make it possible to quickly diagnose tuberculosis, reveal the presence of drug resistance and correctly choose a chemotherapy regimen.
As part of the national priority project “Health” to improve medical care for tuberculosis patients, modern equipment was purchased: Computer tomography, radiological apparatus for 3 workplaces, automatic biochemical analyzer, anesthetic and respiratory apparatus, high-end stationary color digital ultrasound scanner, etc.
Treatment of patients with tuberculosis is carried out under the direct supervision of medical personnel in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation of December 29, 2014. 951 "On approval of guidelines for improving the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory tuberculosis."
In order to prevent nosocomial infection with tuberculosis of employees and patients in the inpatient unit of the Orel Regional Department of the Oryol Region, “OTPD” introduced all infection control measures: administrative, engineering, individual respiratory protection.
The work of the hospital is organized in the mode of "closed doors".
Doors with security locks and intercom communication are installed in all departments.

The first building of the BUZ of the Oryol region "Orlovsky TB Dispensary" is equipped with a system of forced-air ventilation.
