(The modern version of ancient legend about origin of great Kyrgyz lake)
After the sudden and totally unexpected collapse of the USSR, when Kyrgyzstan gained freedom and independence and didn't know what to do with them, gobsmacked people of this beautiful country started to grieving and crying deadly for a long time over the death of the great empire - they lamented so long that eventually the whole bowl of valley filled with the hot and bitter tears flowing down from surrounded pastures and hills of Ala-Too,densely inhabited by this very sensitive and weeping day by night mountain people.
So in this way the new wonderful lake Yssyk-Kul was born, which is translated as a "hot lake" because the tears of love for the collapsed USSR were very hot here.
And Zhirinovsky and other members of Gosduma, of course, are right when they claiming that Russia has the right to this amazing lake and our people will be only
glad and dreaming day by night about uniting with Russia and restoring again the great empire.
