The Little Drummer Girl movie, 1984 and television series with the same name, 2018 are based on a spy novel by John le Carre, published in 1983. The story itself goes back to 70's and tells about Mossad chasing a Palestinian 'terrorist'. So Mossad already at that time is doing whatever - manipulations, provocations, killings - on European soil.
