    Good day may coIlegues! I would like to say a few words about my self.
I studied Medicine at Orenburg State Medical University and graduated in 1975.

    In 1975-1976 I studied Surgery at the Residency program and then was directed in the hospital, where together with my father to work at the department of the surgery. Father took my hands and did the sophisticated operations. My hands he replaced of fractures and corrected the dislocation of bones. With the tips of my fingers, father corrected the vertebrae, he taught me manual therapy of the spine and a lot of other.
   In 1978 I had a postgraduate training in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the State University of Continued Medical Education in Baku, Azerbajan

    From 1979 until 2014 I worked at Ilizarov Science Center of Restorative Traumatology and Orthopedics (Russia) at the department of purulent orthopedics.
Prof. Gavril Ilizarov developed an external fixation device that consists of rings, connecting rods and struts. The wires are threaded through the skin and affected bones are attached to the rings. Controlled compression and distraction of rings allows to lengthen and connect bone ends.  I can use this method in purulent and contaminated sites too. My duties included operations and post-operative management of patients, development of new surgery techniques, publishing articles in scientific journals.

    In 1983, I carried out osteotomy through a purulent surgical site and not just lengthened the bone, but also eliminated the infection. This operation lead to a patent “A method for closing of osteomyelitic cavities” (¹ 1039488)

    I made on operations and corrected orthopedic pathology, lengthened extremities, filled gunshot-related injuries with new bone tissues, treated old fractures after railway, mining and other accidents.

    Medical University gave me a good knowledge of therapy and sungery. I also studied hygiene, epidemiology and infections diseases. This knowledge is nesessory for practice in Africa.  I try to pay a special attention to the sphere of prophylaxis. As far as you know it is often more difficult to diagnose a disease, than to cure it.

    We developed a clinical-x-ray-morphological-nuclease classification of forms of chronic osteomyelitis.
1.Local periosteal cortical form of manifestation osteomyelitis cavity:
2. Sectoral;
3. Circular;
4. Intracanal;
5. Encapsulated.
Classification allows us to choose transosseous  osteosynthesis methods. This methods are:
1. Dosed movement of bone flakes or fragments into the osteomyelitis cavity;
2. Îsteotomy through the osteomyelitis cavity with elongation of the limb;
3. Monolocal compression osteosynthesis;
4. Monolocal compression-dilatation osteosynthesis;
5. Bilocal replacement of postresection defects;
6. Plastik  of the osteomyelitis cavity by the type of bone resection from the inside through osteoplastic access.
The application of the methods was confirmed by the results of bacteriological research.
    Upon the request of Russian Minister of Health I worked in Armenia after the earthquake from 9/9/1988 until 14/04/1989. I treated patients at the Republican Hospital in Yerevan using Ilizarov method to save limbs whereas other physicians would make amputation surgery for the same cases. At the hospital I met Mother Teresa and she presented me a little gift - Miraculous Medal.
I made an organsaved operation, which was against all rules and regulations of medicine but my patient was becoming worse. I was preparing to an amputation. When I went out the hospital and walked down the alley, I saw Mother Teresa. At this particular moment I understood that she could help me. She gave me a small gift - a medal of the Award. The meeting with Mother Teresa changed me and my life. My patient after that got well.
    In 1993 I had a training “Hot topics in Vertebrology (Spine Care)”
    In 1998 I defended my thesis “New technologies for replacement of osteomyelitic cysts” (PhD diploma ÊÒ ¹ 058913)

    In 2001 I published my book “A method of transosseous osteosynthesis for treatment of patients with chronic osteomyelitis”

    In 2002 I received an award of regional government for my scientific achievements

    In 2003 I published my book “Rehabilitation of patients with chronic osteomyelitis and bone cavitie.
    In 2011 I together with my daughter published book “New aspects of Ilizarov metod.

    After graduation of Orenburg State Medical University and residency program in neurology and physiology, in 2000  my daughter was invited to work in Ilizarov Science Center of Restorative Traumatology and Orthopedics (Kurgan, Russia) at the department of neurosurgery. She carried out neurological treatment and examination of patient with defect of cranial bones, complicated by an aphasia and paresis of upper and lower extremities by Ilizarov’s method of bilocal replacement of postresection defects. During the carried-out complex treatment, the speech returned to the patient. Also, the clinical manifestations of paresis of extremities decreased. She suggested to treat patients with consequences of an ischemic stroke with Ilizarov’s method together with conservative treatment on the basis of the obtained clinical and physiological data. Then she proposed to compare results to traditional conservative treatment of this category of patients. A dissertation was planned. Results of the conducted research stunned all experts. She defended a dissertation, received the international grants in France and Russia, results of these work were published in this monograph, patents and articles.
       These books were of interest among traumatologists, surgeons, oncologists and neurosurgeons. They have high citation index and the methods described there are widely accepted in Russia and worldwide. These books were bibliography rare.

    In 2009 I received a certificate of the specialist of highest qualification.
    I am a member of ASAMI (Association for the study and Application of the method of Ilizarov). Ilizarov method is the main Russian doctrine for treatment of gunshot-related and other fractures.

    In 2014 I was invited to get a position at the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics at Orenburg State Medical University. I teach to students, residents and physicians.
    I hold practical classes for eight-ten students six days a week. This program includes two ten-days courses, one per term.
At the beginning of the class I open the presentation with homework questions on my laptop before the group. Each student answers the question while showing the presentation on the laptop. Then I teach students how to perform closed reduction of fractures and dislocations reduction. With a help of students I simulate these treatment methods using the examples of forearm fracture, shin fracture with footstep subluxation, forearm and shoulder dislocation and subluxation, lower jaw dislocation, vertebrae fractures and dislocations. Then I share my medical experience with the group and teach them how to provide first aid to the patient.
    During the practical class we make presurgical analysis of the patient. The next day we carry out the operation and review the results. The class ends with a quiz after which every student gets the grade depending on his work. My method of teaching in practical classes is approved and integrated in postgraduate medical training of academicians. On the exams my students are known for their good preparation.
    At the Students Scientific Circle meetings students under my control conduct osteosynthesis of animal bones using Ilizarov apparatus. They also illustrate my patents, write theses and research articles under my supervision. Besides I teach students to treat patients in conditions of purulent infection.
    Give lectures for four faculties. At a sold-out lecture. Student like it, when I tell stories about me medical practice. I completed the planned operation, when the second patient was brout to the operating room on the second table, so that I conducted an emergency operation for him. The anesthesiologist examined him and said: “The  patient is more dead than alive.” But he gane anesthesia to the patient. The patient had an extensive phlegmon and I had to cat from the thoracic spine through the middle of the scapula, the shoulder joint, the shoulder, the elbow joint and the forearm to the radiocarpal joint. Colleagues came to the bandaging room looked at the wound and said: “Only Lapynin coud cut the patient by saber, because he is from the capital of the Orenburg Cossack –the town of Orenburg.” Before the revolution in Russia in 1917, the town of Orenburg was the capital of the Orenburg Cossack were almost like Egyption Mamluks
    During the campaign in Egypt, Napoleon’s army had to fight with the Mamluks. Commander of the cavalry, Murat highly valued the cavalry of the Mamluks, who studied a particular strategy and tactics. In 1812, when Napoleon attacked Russia, Murat, after fighting with the cavalry of the Orenburg Cossacks, admitted that they were fighting like Mamluks, they possessed strategy and tactics, only horses could still lie down and crawl. A special feature of the fighting horse of the Orenburg Cossack is a special understanding, a flair, loyalty to the master There are jokes about the love of a fighting horse to a Cossack.
    I  participate in international conferences.

    In 2015 I had a training on educational technologies (certificate ¹ 99041 of 29.01.2015)

   In 2017 I had a postgraduate training in Orthopedics and Traumatology and received  a certificate proving my right to work in this field. (¹0556180617671)
In 2018 I had a training on educational technologies.
From 2016 until 2017 I received 4 patents including certificates of implementation. Today in Orenburg I develop new management approaches for complications after joint replacement surgery, contaminated surgery and publish scientific papers.
   I would like to teach the following topics of Orthopedics and Traumatology: 1)Wounds 2) Wound and bone nfections 3) Management of Fractures and Impaired Regeneration.
      I have 35 years experience in teaching Ilizarov method to foreign specialists. Before operation I show the plan of it which include pictures and X-rays. On operation I took their hands and deed operation. After operation I show the results of it on X-rays. Foreign colleagues were happy because they had done it themselves. And they talk that they can read and understand my books, it was illustrated necessary important pictures and X-rays. We will operate you like you taught.
      From 2018 I described two new patents. Description of the results of complex research of new methods protected by patents developed in Orenburg from 2016 until 2018, will present a new concept of bone formation. May be it will be a breakthrough.
     The treatment of patients with Ilizarov,s metod is a great art, but not an ordinary trade.
 I lead a healthy lifestyle.
     Thank you for attention.
