Once Alex’s mom took him to the botanical garden, and was showing him around

Alex listened quietly, then turned around and asked:

Police? It’s a serious matter
When Alex was four years old he went for a walk with his grandfather every morning in his electric car. One morning, driving slowly up the hill, he suddenly saw a police car parked at the curb. Alex changed the route and passed by the police at a considerable distance.
- Grandpa, where is the police car now?
- The police were frightened and left – joked the grandfather.
Alex stared at his grandfather.
- Alex, I'm kidding.
- It’s not a good joke, Grandpa. Don’t you know that you can’t joke about the police?
