- "Pe!" In Turkmen

Stories on the use of foreign languages.

In one amazing Turkmen-word interjection. The word emotional, short but very capacious in terms of content, the ability to transmit and unexpected joy, surprise and confusion, even anger and more. Enumerate meaningless.

I met on the street surprisingly beautiful woman - "Pe!".
He lost at the races, placing on the wrong stallion Akhal-Teke, - "Pe!".
Won, too - "Pe!".
Brought son from school "two" - "Pe!". "Five" - "Pe!".
I tried a neighbor pilaf, like, did not like - "Pe!".

And so on.

In general, if you know "Pe!", You will understand without error ratio companion for anything, not even knowing the Turkmen language.

Another example: the anecdote of a series of "KGB".

Once known fifty years ago the Director of the Office of Office of the Military and Political Intelligence of some " West super great state" urgently gathered meeting of heads of state of emergency subordinate "directorates" and "Office". In an odd hour in the Great Hall of the meeting of the Staff "Central Apartments" alert aces gathered "information" departments - generals, admirals and other. Until the "Chief", concerned about the congregation broke into "groups of interest" and tried to find out from each other about the reason for the unplanned meeting.

At the appointed hour arrived Director. She greeted with subordinates gesture. I not immediately began to speak. Kept pause. Generals stiffened. Everyone involuntarily recalled their own sins and mistakes.

Finally, the director said:
- Gentlemen, I have to have a very unpleasant news: in our environment - a Soviet spy!

In the hall came a very heavy silence.

And suddenly the silence was broken involuntary exclamation of one of the officers attending the meeting:
