We are
snow staff
keeping a watch on the slow
rise-and-fall
of the snow-stakes
Mild chill
forming stars tipped with tingles
Wet white circling
on the outside
rapidly dies
Hip to the mingling ties
lip-synch the i cries
as the silent armada of beating bees
sting the pregnant earth with anaesthetic.
