В одной крупный рыболовной компании пропало рыболовецкое судно.Последний раз капитан выходил на связь из странного маленького прибрежного городка в районе Бермудских островов.Он говорил, что несколько членов экипажа пропало, а остальные странно себя ведут,радио и средства связи на корабле вышли из строя и он не знает что ему делать.Ему было приказано доплыть без средств связи до крупного порта в 500 километрах от него и встать на ремонт и расследование.Но через 2 дня выяснилось, что судно исчезло и на его поиски отправили частного детектива.Он приехал в этот маленький странный городок для поисков и по пути разговаривал с местным водителем такси.Он сказал ему, что жители здесь странные и большинство верят в Кана-Лоа и Дагона,поэтому не стоит здесь задерживаться.Следователь посмеялся и сказал, что не верит в легенды,но водитель напомнил, что все может быть и что лучше ему побыстрее покинуть эти места,потому что чужаков здесь не любят.Детектив остановился в гостинице и заметил что лица у большинства жителей были какие-то бледные и они были не очень общительны и дружелюбны.Он держал их у себя в мыслях за чудаков ,потому что не верил в местные легенды.Ночью ему приснился кошмар с участием духа Oredab а в конце кошмара его поглотили щупальца Бога кальмара.На следующий день он начал поиски судна и сразу заподозрил местных рыбаков.Он понял, что они что-то скрывают и решил за ними последить.Через несколько часов его поиски увенчались успехом и он нашел пропавшее судно.Когда он оглушил ударом по голове нескольких рыбаков и проник на борт,то в каюте капитана он обнаружил глубоководного.Этого наш герой не ожидал и от удивления и испуга чуть не упал в обморок.Но этому монстру помогли другие твари,которые подошли сзади.Они избили детектива, а потом связали.Когда детектив очнулся , то увидел, что глубоководные его куда-то везут на китобойном судне.К счастью он смог освободиться при помощи своих секретных приспособлений(небольшой нож и мелкокалиберный пистолет).Он смог убить нескольких существ рядом с собой, а потом взял дробовик и убил остальных.Их было 5 человек(существ).Но его проблемы на этом не закончились, и когда наш герой решил успокоиться, из воды появился Кана-Лоа.Но детектив не растерялся и увидел мощный гарпун на носу корабля.Он был нацелен прямо в туловище морского чудовища.Он выстрелил и сумел его отпугнуть,потом детектив потерял сознание.Его нашли на борту этого судна другие моряки на следующий день.Фирме ,которая его наняла он сказал, что видел пропавшее судно ,но не знает точно на месте ли он сейчас или нет.Когда в то место приехала полиция - то ничего не обнаружила и дело было списано на морских пиратов.

Next day he began search of the vessel and at once suspected local fishermen. He understood that they hide something and decided to see to them. In several hours its search was crowned with success and it found the gone vessel. When it deafened by blow to the head of several fishermen and got aboard, in the captain's cabin he found deep-water. Our hero did not expect it and from surprise and a fright nearly fainted. But this monster was helped by other creatures which approached behind. They beat the detective, and then connected. When the detective regained consciousness, saw that deep-water he is carried somewhere on the whaling vessel. Fortunately he could be released by means of the confidential devices (a small knife and a small-bore gun). He could kill several beings near himself, and then took a shot-gun and killed the others. They were 5 people (beings). But its problems on it did not end and when our hero decided to calm down, from water appeared Cana-Loa.
