A Sestina to the Almighty
God, You made all nature,
the hot, raging sun,
the big, wide universe,
and my home – the beautiful Earth.
You love to create,
and You are so wise!
God, so wise,
who made all nature,
a sun,
an earth,
and a universe.
In the whole universe,
God is the most wise.
Who could make the earth
as amazing as God made it? The nature
and the sun,
show how God loves to create.
Who can create
such a wonderful universe?
God is like the sun
which gives everything on earth life, and He is wise.
He made the great nature,
and can make another, even better, Earth.
Even within the earth,
He still can create
animals. So good is His nature,
that all the universe
will bow down to Him. He is so wise
that the sun
will stop if He says so. Our sun
will darken, and the Earth
will stop spinning, because the wise
God will create
a new universe
with better nature!
He created the nature and the sun,
the Earth and the whole universe.
The almighty, wise God can create a beautiful Earth!
