Periodical emerge and disappearance on the continents surface of shallow but vast reservoirs (I call them High Water Reservoirs, briefly - HWR) is, as I know, an insufficiently investigated phenomenon. But those were discovery and further investigations of HWR, first of all in the territory of Ukraine that enabled me, without using any other paleoclimatic data, to draw conclusion of the existence of 2400-year climatic cycle and, moreover, to locate rather accurately its extremums. Hence, there are all the grounds to go on with works in this direction, but already not by a single researcher with modest knowledge and resources, but by involving other specialists and for wider geographical zones.

The mechanism of the HWR emerge is thought to be as follows.
Essential sign of humid and warm phases of the 2400-year cycle is the growth of meridional transfer of moisture in the atmosphere. By the way, such growth starts its manifestation in our time. Seems, seasonal maximums of such meridional transfers that reach mean latitudes are close in time to vernal and autumnal equinoxes, when insolation of low latitudes is maximal, and that of mean latitudes is rather low. As the result, moisture transferred from low latitudes evaporates quite slowly in the mean latitudes, and this leads to its stockpiling in the places with suitable for this landscape.

For the principal factor that creates HWRs at mean latitudes - just mentioned spring and autumn periods of heavy and lasting rains- to become normal seasonal phenomena (then stockpiling of moisture in HWRs occurs), it is necessary that the level of earth hydrosphere excite was high enough, in other words, that share of earth moisture in the oceanic reservoir was rather low.  It is the time when rather high level of moisture is in the most mobile its reservoir - atmospheric, and the mentioned powerful seasonal meridional moisture transfers that fill HWRs occur.
The most powerful oceanic reservoir, which nowadays contains 96.5% of all earth moisture, is rather conservative and inertial. Note, that in the spectrum of solar activity variations too there is outstanding by its specific power harmonic - it is the harmonic with the period of 2400 years. That is why essential change of the capacity of the most powerful and conservative moisture reservoir or, what is the same, change of the earth hydrosphere excitement is determined correspondingly by the change of amplitude of the most powerful harmonic in the solar activity variation spectrum.

Therefore, it is possible to state that emerge and disappearance of HWRs occurs under the impact of the most powerful harmonic in the Earth insolation spectrum, which has the period of 2400 years. The natural archive data prove this. As soon as the amplitude of the harmonic with the period of 2400 years during Holocene was descending, then maximal sizes of HWRs were falling.
