We used to be together.
When you came to my place, I made tea and put two cups on a small kitchen table. We spent time sitting in front of each other, talking about everything in the world and laughing without any reason. We looked each other in the eye and drank tea.
Then you left. I was putting two cups on the table for a long time after that. I drank tea looking in the window. I forgot how to laugh without a reason.
Time passed and I finally got used to putting one cup on the kitchen table.
And then she came. Now she comes to my place and we spend time looking at each other, talking about different things and laughing.
But I still put one cup on the kitchen table.
