Sceptical pictures fragments

Part I

Morning. A child’s room (a girl’s room) dominated by sunshine. A bed. A girl rises from the bed. She is wearing a night-gown. She takes out a picture of….from under the bed and kisses it. She makes several steps. She approaches the door. A sand-glass of medium size is placed near the door. She takes it. She kisses the sand-glass and smashes it against the wall. It breaks into pieces. She approaches a table. Pooh-bear toys, an open notebook, a telephone and a computer are scattered around the table. She takes the telephone receiver and kisses it. She lets it fall down. Several steps- she kisses the wall. All the time her actions resemble some kind of a pagan (spiritist) ritual. There is logic in her movements, but they look like a partially forgotten exercise. Her lips are endlessly muttering all the same thing: “Нет”, “Нет”, “Нет”… She approaches the computer. She breaks her fist through the top of the monitor and takes out a small chip from there. She almost touches it to her lips. She throws it away. She moves to the window. She opens it. The first leg, then the other. She sits on the sill. She rises on her fists…and… she falls.

Part II

Twilight. A table. Magical objects all over it. Several girls wearing long white gowns and loose hairs are gathered around the table. A trivial scene. A ritual. One of the girls cuts a tuft of her hair… Some words resembling a spell are constantly spoken.

Part III

Twilight. A girl is running in the swamp(s). She stumbles now and then at water lilies, green leaves. A lake. She turns back her head several times horrified.

Part IV

A room. The same room. A girl raises from the bed and goes to the balcony dressed in her night-gown. Sunny weather. She is watering a plant. The plant and its pot are shown in a close-up.
